There is much excitement as “Stage One” of The Hall draws close to completion. This fabulously large space will immediately enhance the cultural life of our school and we hope to hold our first school assembly in Week One of Term Two!

This week we received a shipment of 1000 recycled bricks for our road front entrance to the Hall.
It was a poignant moment when we realised that this delivery of bricks, made on the day of the devastating earthquake in Christchurch, had been recycled from buildings destroyed in the September quake.
We have decided to mount a plaque on one of these bricks to both commemorate the bravery of so many individuals and in remembrance of those that lost their lives during this major New Zealand disaster.
